We are bad at updating our website! Here is what is new!
Wow, we did a very bad job at the tail end of 2024 (and thus far in 2025) of updating our website. We were pretty good about updating the socials, but really bad at the website. We had a lot going on, but that’s no excuse. So here are some details on what we’ve been up to!
FAR-073 FIGHT DICE - TOTAL PARTY KILL LP
Needless to say, we were beyond stoked when Milwaukee’s Fight Dice reached out about helping get their debut LP TOTAL PARTY KILL into the world. The LP absolutely rules and it is awesome to work with people whose music you absolutely worshipped as a teenager that you’ve gotten to know over the many years since. Do you like dungeons and dragons and punk rock? Well, then this is the record for you. Excellent art, excellent album, excellent dudes. Catch them live the first chance you get.
FAR-075 THE FEAT - SCHEMES FOR DECADES LP
This is a collaborative release with five other awesome labels (Tor Johnson Records, Killer Tofu Records, Dipterid Records, Triple Eye Industries, and Dipterid Records). Chicago’s THE FEAT is a new band from Craig Woods (Towers, Elder, Engines, Pink Eyes, Peter + Craig), Justin Wexler (Stillwell, Engines, Pink Eyes), and Matt Vicars (Sore History, Cheap Vacation, Ghost Towns, VAC). Their sound exists somewhere within their shared collective experience of independent and punk music in the venn diagram of mixed bill shows at the Fireside Bowl in the 90s, years of touring and playing basements across the country, and old well-concealed cash mailorders from Ebullition and No Idea,. Hard to categorize, but easy to recognize. THE FEAT are playing in the midwest now and scheming an upcoming east coast run in July that you don’t want to miss!
FAR-076 FORDIRELIFESAKE - BREATHING IN IS ONLY HALF THE FUNCTION (2024 REMASTER)
In honor of the 25th anniversary of the band (notably born on Halloween day in 1999) we remastered their debut album, which has been out of print for 20 years! This punk/metal/hardcore classic features reworked full color art matching the CD layout by original artist Phil Dwyer (Apt 13) and was remastered by Carl Saff and sounds even better than it did in 2003. We only pressed 250 copies and they are almost gone, so act fast!
And hey, that’s not all. No physical release (yet!) but we worked with Nymb to get their entire catalog streaming and even dug up two sessions recorded with Fun Bobby Burg, aptly titled THE FUN BOBBY SESSIONS. Two of these tracks appeared on the way OOP Sanders 7”, one was on the ADITA #10 compilation CD, and one has NEVER BEEN HEARD UNTIL NOW. All were mastered by Carl Saff and sound amazing. You can catch this on the streaming services and our Bandcamp now. You can also pick up a limited Nymb throwback shirt. We are working on a vinyl/CD discography of the entire Nymb catalog. Expect to see that some time in late 2025 or early 2026. Cool? Cool.
